Wilier Triestina: top performance for the Eurosuper system
A glorious history spanning almost half a century, followed by closure and rebirth in the 1970s: Wilier Triestina is a company that has reached the present day driven by a passion for "steel horses." Bicycle production began in 1906 in Bassano del Grappa, in the small workshop of Pietro Dal Molin, who soon organized a professional team led by Giordano Cottur from Trieste. In 1952, due to the growing popularity of motorcycles, Wilier Triestina closed and abandoned competitive cycling. Today, the company has been revived thanks to the Gastaldello brothers from Rossano Veneto, who acquired the brand in 1969 and succeeded in expanding its presence in the international market.
THE REQUIREMENT
The client expressed the need to heat their new offices, a building spanning two floors and a total of approximately 1,300 square meters.
The goal, common to all forward-thinking companies, was to ensure employee comfort without increasing energy waste, thus balancing the well-being of workers with cost containment. This balance is perfectly achieved with radiant systems.
THE SOLUTION
For this project, the chosen solution was the Eurosuper floor radiant heating system, which operates at low temperatures and ensures efficient performance with low operating costs.
Eurosuper maximizes system efficiency and provides excellent insulation. The polyurethane insulation panel with double aluminum coating and edge beveling eliminates downward heat loss and thermal bridges, giving the panel perfect thermal insulation and significant energy savings.
The system is available in four different thicknesses, which can be selected based on installation conditions (minimum thermal resistance according to UNI EN 1264).
