A small construction site in the province of Pavia, the energy refit of a single-family house with the installation of the Leonardo 3.5 radiant ceiling in heating and cooling configuration.

The goal?

Guarantee climate comfort in every season and safeguard the customer against excessive energy expenditure.

The area covered by the work is 50 square metres, where the 600x200 and 120x200 Leonardo 3.5 cm system panels were installed, (the number 3.5 indicates the spacing of the piping contained in the panel, a very high-performance pitch in terms of yield and cooling.

As you can see in the video - which illustrates the construction site from the preliminary stages right through to the installation of the 'active' plasterboard panels -, a classic double-beam metal plasterboard structure was installed, secured with pendants. An interesting aspect is the integration with air treatment for dehumidification, which is essential in the presence of a radiant system operating in cooling mode. The aeraulic system is connected to the vertical Deuclima CMV 300 V air treatment unit, installed in a technical compartment. In addition to the dehumidification function, the machine is equipped with a UV lamp to sanitise the air against viruses and bacteria.

We can also see that the air treatment diffuser in some rooms is mounted on the wall, while in adjacent rooms it is mounted on the ceiling. Lights have also been integrated into the ceiling.

The Leonardo radiant ceiling system once again proved to be the most efficient solution in improving indoor comfort.
