The Deuclima 901 DCC is a refrigeration cycle unit developed for ceiling mounted indoor applications. The deuclima is capable of isothermal dehumidification during the summer period, that is, it can dehumidify air and return it to the room at approximately the temperature at which it was taken. Dehumidification is based on the physical principle that when moist air comes into contact with a sufficiently cold surface it forms condensation droplets, which is then removed through the dedicated drain. In addition, this unit has a refrigerant-water heat exchanger that enables it to function both as an isothermal dehumidifier and as a deuclimatizer (dehumidification and cooling) by introducing cooled as well as dehumidified air that can provide maximum comfort. In addition to the heat exchangers inherent to the refrigeration cycle (evaporator and condenser), the unit integrates a plate heat exchanger, a hermetic compressor, pre- and post-cooling coils, and a low-speed fan for quiet operation. The unit requires connection to a chilled water circuit and condensate drainage system for its operation.
