Customised radiant ceiling for the new Conad supermarket head offices in Forlì

Conad, a major player in the large-scale retail trade, has chosen the SAPP^® radiant ceiling climate control system for its new headquarters in Forlì, guaranteeing climate comfort all year round.

The area covered by the work is approximately 5,000 square metres.

The site is characterised by the many asymmetries in the corridors and the sloping walls. This involved the development of a highly detailed project, so that each individual metal slat had to be cut to size so as to obtain the result you see in the video.nbsp;In other words, a ceiling that totally encompasses the plant, rendering it effectively invisible and creating a continuous, harmonious, aesthetically impeccable surface.

The office corridors have become technical areas to all intents and purposes, as the mechanical, electrical and aeraulic parts are concentrated here and hidden by the slats while remaining perfectly accessible for inspections and any maintenance work which, it is worth stressing, is practically non-existent in the case of radiant systems.

In addition, we installed an earthquake-proof pendant for the SAPP^® structure.

As you can see in the video, the structure consists of the insulating mattress, pendanting and coupling of the 5-pitch pipe with our patented clips, and concealed ventilation vents. LED lamps have been integrated into the ceiling.

The client what two main requirements: improved indoor comfort and sound insulation, both of which were met by installing a customised radiant ceiling that was invisible, silent and energy efficient.
