Developed according to criteria of eco-sustainability, the insulation package of the Ecoplus radiant floor heating and cooling system consists exclusively of wood, a material that provides good thermal insulation.The clip support plate follows the same construction procedures as the Ecoplus plate, but with higher density. Overlapping the slabs achieves a footfall noise attenuation of about 31 dB, calculated according to UNI EN 12354-2.

Underfloor heating and cooling system consisting of a wood fiber insulating panel with declared thermal conductivity λ equivalent to 0.038 W/m·K (UNI EN 13171 and UNI EN 12667) and a CP2 compressibility rating (UNI EN 12431), protected on the top and bottom by polyethylene-coated paper with an SD value equivalent to 6 m; the upper part of the package consists of a high-density wood fiber slab to which the clips used to anchor the piping may be attached. The system is available in 2 different thicknesses that can be selected depending on the installation condition and is supplied together with a compressed natural cork insulation board available in 3 different thicknesses. The system offers dynamic stiffness of 28 MN/m³ (in the case of 25 mm thickness) and 40 MN/m³ (in the case of 34 mm thickness). It is possible to use ø16 mm piping with spacing from 10 to 20 cm. The system includes a perimeter strip and expansion joints made of corrugated and waxed cardboard, ecoplus type polyamide slab clamps necessary for joining the perforated wood fiber sheets, polyethylene foam insulation sheathing for pipe protection, and a 0.2 mm thick polyethylene sheet to be inserted under the panel. In the case of self-levelling screed, a polyethylene sheet with a thickness of 0.1 mm can be supplied.
