Interview with Architect Riccardo Basso

The eco design required a heating system that could combine energy efficiency, thermal comfort and plant-origin insulation materials. Not being able to modify the dimensions of the existing building, we needed a floor package 24 cm thick that included the wooden supporting structure, the insulation, the radiant heating system and the floor finish. We installed the ecoplus system on top of the wooden supporting structure and inserted the insulation package and radiant tubing into the space between the floor joists.
